I left work at 1:00 pm on May 27th and headed through Philly to the Northeast Extension where I got delayed by an accident and lost over an hour of time. Other than "stretching" breaks, I drove straight through the rest of Pa. and took a nap in Ohio in the early morning of the 28th. I then drove through Indiana and Illinois (took a by-pass around Chicago which was a great change this time) and rested at the first rest stop in Wisconsin. Somehow I was ahead of schedule.
Drove straight to North Dakota and ate at a very good burger place called "Culver's" before sleeping at rest stop.
On Thursday, I drove across North Dakota to Theodore Roosevelt National Park and then cut acroos the top of Montana before heading south on I-15 to a rest stop for a long night's sleep.
Friday I headed to Great Falls and explored the area. Finally slept in a motel.
