Left Spokane after breakfast at motel.
Spokane was totally different than I expected. It is not a place I would choose to live.
The terrain in Eastern Washington is similar to much of the prarie west - mostly grassland.
As you get nearer to the west area there are mountains with snow on the top and then you descend down to Seattle. There are mountains on all sides of Seattle. (As you'll see in the photos from the Space Needle (SN))
I went to the Space Needle (parking across the street in all day parking) and then walked about 1/2 mile to Pike Place Market (which is the place where they throw fish).
The first 10 photos are on the drive from Spokane to Seattle.

Kind of a creepy little city huh? Stayed there for a weekend when I walked from Seattle to D.C. Last summer. Spokane was nothing like I expected.
